Front Desk Administrator

We are looking for someone willing to learn and eager to engage with patients. Duties will include assisting patients, doctors, and other staff members. The position will require you to be familiar with or willing to learn about insurance benefits, EMR (Athena), and podiatric medicine.

Positive energy in everything you do is a must. It is also important that you are comfortable using a computer. This position involves data entry and word processing daily. If using a computer scares you, this isn’t the right fit.

Medical Assistant

We are looking for someone willing to learn and eager to engage with patients. We are a drama-free office and offer a great working environment with flexibility. Medical Scribe

Third Coast Foot and Ankle is excited to welcome another person to our growing team!  We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and hungry to learn.  We are eager to hire a positive individual to add to our medical scribe and medical assistant team.

Here at Third Coast Foot and Ankle, we help our patients live their happiest and healthiest lifestyles.  We provide excellent medical care while maintaining a professional team atmosphere centered on delivering the best customer service.

This position is great for anyone working towards a future career in the medical field as a professional medical provider.  You will gain experience in working with patients and physicians.  You will have access to lectures from a local resident program and teaching opportunities with both high school and medical students.

Requirements:   

  • 1-Yr Commitment (required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Medical Terminology 1 year (preferred)
  • EMR systems 1 year (preferred)

Essential Functions:  

  • Accompany physicians into patients’ examination rooms to transcribe patient history, exams, and other visit notes and orders.
  • Always provide excellent patient care and customer service
  • Perform initial assessment and evaluation of the patient and document all patient procedures, results, and treatments.
  • Perform accurate and complete work promptly to facilitate optimal patient flow.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing systems to amplify productivity and services.
  • Contribute to the team atmosphere as a learning and enthusiastic member.
  • Participate in clear, efficient communication with patients and families, other care providers, and team members.
  • Assist with surgery and procedures including but not limited to: pre-operative and post-operative education, patient anesthesia, draping, set up of tray, and management of instruments.
  • Perform and/or assist in diagnostic imaging and record keeping, including radiographs and ultrasound.
